The next stage was a 1-mile continuous run, just to get the legs working again after the sandbag push. This was scenic timed run thru the campus and the famous "Hogans Ally".
The final leg was the "Spartan Run" finisher.... Running and stopping for various exercises or obstacles on the return trip.
First stop, the Stair run, five laps up and down the steps:
Run about 200 yards to the next round, The Lunge Walk (Wicked!!), 20 lunges each leg for a total of 40:
The next stop after a brief run was 20 Push-ups:
Not done yet!! Next stop, mountain climbers..
Followed by the final exercise, pull ups...
This was a comprehensive workout lasting about 30 minutes. My favorite so far.
Below are a few photos of our session before and after the challenge.
Ben Moreno, Joe Dugan, Nick Boulter (Section 4)
Larry Dyess (Section 5)
Emir (International Student/Bosnia, Section 1)
Danny Fish and Emir (Danny isn't short, Emir is just really tall!)
After the run with Danny and Harry
After the run, FAMILY!
Overall this was another great morning fitness challenge with a great group of people, working our way to the Yellow Brink Road.
